About Babypass Services
Babypass is for you if you would like to:
- Pass on good health and microbiomes to your children – starting from as early as pregnancy.
- Make the most of your physical and mental well-being, and improve productivity.
- Learn about you or your children’s health and gut microbiome, especially if you experience bloating, indigestion constipation and other conditions, or are currently coping with metabolic, immune or infectious diseases.
Going beyond microbiome testing, Babypass is a handy suite of health management services built on top of the biodata generated by you. These services are made possible by a wide range of professionals and partners with their expert knowledge in microbiome, healthcare, nutrition, reproduction, pregnancy and early child development.
What’s more, pregnant women and infants have distinctly different microbiome profiles compared to that of an average adult human focused on in other tests. With our proprietary database of these populations, Babypass is the only health service provider capable of deriving biologically-meaningful and scientifically-sound analytics for families.
Test Packages
Our thoughtfully-designed services are packaged to suit your specific needs, depending on your current life stage. Frequent monitoring of your gut microbiome can dramatically improve your health as you make lifestyle and dietary adjustments. We recommend doing a test every 8-12 weeks, though you can also opt to increase the test frequency to take place on a monthly basis.
Order, Payment and Refund
We are delighted you’ve chosen Babypass to support you on your family’s health journey. Getting hold of a test package is a snap – simply download the app to place an order.
Only for as often as you opt for a test. A one-time fee will be charged upon confirmation of your first package order. No subscription fee is involved. If you would like to purchase additional packages, simply place a new order through the app.

Medisave cannot be used to claim for Babypass services as yet.
Sample Collection
Once you have purchased a package, simply request a kit through the app. The kit will reach you within 2-3 working days.
Our sample collection kit is designed to be easy to use. It is unlikely that you will touch your stool.
The kit will come with an instructional leaflet. These instructions are also available in the app.
If you have received a damaged or incomplete kit, please get in touch with us in the app, and we will be sure to send you a replacement kit.
Any time is a good time, except if you:
- have had gastro-intestinal surgery in the last 6 months, recently undergone colonoscopy, or had a colon cleanse or enema.
- are menstruating
Please let us know in the questionnaire if you have been treated with antibiotics in the past month, or have been taking medicine that may affect your microbiome composition. Do also let us know if you are taking immunosuppressants, cholesterol lowering drugs, and diabetes medication metformin, or undergoing treatments for conditions such as immunotherapy, chemotherapy and acid reflux/indigestion. These will impact your microbiome.

Results and Interpretation
Your personalised results will be available 4-6 weeks after we have received your sample.
We know you can’t wait! You may find a concise summary of the results in an interactive format, via the app. A full, detailed report will also be available in the app, with the option to share a PDF version via email.
The test results allow you to gain a deeper understanding about your unique gut microbiome, and take action on making changes for a better microbiome, get healthier, and pass on the wealth of good health to your family.
In short, the report can help you:
- Learn which microorganisms are in your gut and what they might be doing.
- Monitor how your gut/ milk microbiome changes with lifestyle adjustments.
- Learn if the probiotics you have been taking actually make it to your gut.
- If your milk microbiome has been passed on to your baby and colonised your baby’s gut.
- Learn which foods can be added to your diet for a better microbiome.
- Learn how you may make lifestyle choices to promote better health and pregnancy outcome.
In addition, you can share the report securely with a doctor, health coach or nutritionist of your choice, and get professional help.

This test will provide you with a detailed overview of which microorganisms reside in your gut and what they might be doing. This in turn may provide insight into your health. The information provided by Babypass contains personalised dietary suggestions to promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, to promote general health, and provide findings from published clinical studies on dietary and lifestyle interventions for particular diseases, but does not prescribe a complete diet or lifestyle plan. If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, it is important to speak to your medical practitioner before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Sample, Data Protection & Privacy Policy

For your personal information, it may be disclosed to, and used by:
- Service providers and partners, who assist us in operating our business;
- Any industry body, tribunal and/or court in connection with any complaint made by you about us; and
- Any other organization or person with your consent or as permitted or required by law.
We may disclose to a contracted courier service provider, certain personal information you provide us (such as your email address, phone number and/or residential address) in connection with us providing our services to you. This information may be used by the courier service provider for the purposes of providing notification of tracking events and collecting any relevant feedback in relation to the delivery or tracking service.

Any medical record stored in Family Health Vault will be strictly confidential and belong exclusively to you. Under no circumstances will Babypass use or share this information with anyone.
An aliquot of your stool or milk sample will be processed, while the remainder will be stored in a stool or milk bank maintained by BluMaiden Biosciences. We deplete human DNA from the samples and focus only on the microbial DNA.
Your data will be saved on the secure cloud servers maintained by BluMaiden Biosciences. We will analyse your data and will provide you with results together with personalised health information and recommendations. Your samples and data may be used for research and development to make diagnostics, prognostics and therapeutics, if you consent to participation in our research. All data utilised in research will be de-identified. By consenting to research you transfer and assign all right and title to the sample(s) and data you provide to BluMaiden Biosciences and the information derived from the sample(s) to BluMaiden Biosciences and its assigns.

Your information may be shared with Babypass preferred partners to bring better health monitoring and management experience for you. These are companies which share a close business relationship with BluMaiden in areas such as co-branding, marketing collaborations and other strategic partnerships. These companies belong to a diverse range of industries, e.g. nutritionists and content and community platforms focusing on family health.
In addition to these partners, Babypass may also share your information with third party merchants/advertisers only with your consent. These are companies which engage BluMaiden and our communications channels to offer exclusive or other exciting deals and promotions to our customers. Some examples of our third-party merchants are The Asian Parent, nutritionists and content and community platforms.
You may have given your consent when you signed up for our services:
- when you use our BabyPass mobile application(s) and services
- when you join our lucky draws
- when you register and participate in our events and launches
Yes, you may do so through the Babypass App.
Upon receipt of a duly completed request form, it will take up to 30 days to process your request. A customer service officer will be in contact with you regarding the feasibility of your request and any related charges.
You may request for access to personal data on behalf of someone else only if you obtain and are able to produce documents of proof of his/her authorisation.
